Mental health conversations that actually connect

I’m Amy-Ruth Lewis - a professional speaker, workplace wellbeing facilitator and lived experience advocate specialising in mental health, suicide prevention and meaningful human connection.

My work sits at the intersection of professional knowledge and real-world experience.

I have worked across crisis support, mental health education, suicide prevention, workplace facilitation and community settings, supporting people to better understand mental health and, importantly, feel more confident talking about it.

Because knowing what to say is one thing. Feeling able to say it when it matters is another.

I’m particularly interested in what happens before someone reaches crisis - the conversations, cultures and everyday moments that can make it easier for people to speak up, check in and ask for support.

My facilitation style is warm, candid and highly practical. I create spaces where serious topics can be explored without making people feel uncomfortable, overwhelmed or lectured.

The goal isn’t for everyone to become a mental health expert.

It’s for people to leave feeling more capable of noticing, connecting and responding to the people around them.

Better conversations. Stronger workplaces.
